MFG/Pro & Apriso Integration Project

Originally quoted as a six month project, we successfully implemented this project in half the time and within the same budget.

Our client asked us to integrate Apriso's CIM+ Warehouse Management System with MFG/Pro. The CIM+ system allowes our client to use hand held scanners and have tighter controls on:

• Production
• Inventory management
• Sales & Shipping
• Purchasing & Receiving

Interfacing BizTalk with MFG/Pro

We used a combination of technologies to integrate the two systems. Apriso decided to use Microsoft's Biztalk Server as it's interface point.

We used QAD's Q/LinQ product as the MFG/Pro interface.

Together we developed a document exchange standard, using XML to exchange documents.

The result..

The result was an system that not only works for the intended purpose, but also has opened up QAD to interface with any XML source!
