Q/LinQ Interface

Q/LinQ provides a standard framework for data import and export between MFG/Pro and a variety of industry applications, reducing Application Program Interface (API) maintenance costs and maximizing data transfer efficiency.

Q/LinQ supports fluid data exchanges with logistics and distribution systems, factory automation systems, scheduling systems, and sales order entry applications. And its open-ended structure facilitates interoperability with other customized applications.

This interface presents an excellent way to integrate MFG/Pro with disparate systems.

In a recent project we used Q/LinQ to integrate MFG/Pro with a Warehouse Management System. The integrated system allowed the user to utilize bar-code scanning in an environment where the inventory was tightly controlled.

Using Q/LinQ inventory transactions are occuring in near real time. It takes less than one second for transactions to propogate to and from MFG/Pro.

Also, by translating data to XML the system is more open and will be more easily with future systems.
